Ingredients:
- 100g Unsalted butter
- 55g Powdered sugar
- 1 Egg yolk
- 165g All-purpose flour
- 10g Oolong tea (finely-ground)
Method:
- Leave unsalted butter at room temperature for approximately 30 minutes or until slightly softened.
- Mix softened butter with powdered sugar and beat until creamy.
- Add egg yolk and mix until combined.
- Add in sifted all-purpose flour and tea powder, mix until the dough is smooth.
- Place the dough on a baking sheet and roll it flat. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Remove from refrigerator and cut out the cookies with a cookie mould. Chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 160°C. Place the cookies in the oven and bake for 8-12 minutes.
- Your freshly-baked Oolong Tea Cookies are ready to eat!
